Wanted: Computer programmer intrested in video.

I had an idea today and was wondering if any programmer is out there to help me create a very simple programme. It would consist of a programme which is configured and then sends out windows messages to various other programes. Kind of like dvd2svcd.

This programme is for converting movies 2 a special format for downloading. The idea being all you have to do is select what you want the output format to be and it will do the rest.

Example: You have a dvd you want to be to send to a friend acroos the world in vcd format. You would config the programme and in a few hours you should have a file maybe 200mbs. He just has to put this into his version of the programme which would deocde it to vcd.

it may seem like a simple task but what youy are asking for would take quite a bit of time and effort, what would be in it for the programmer?

More to the question what would be in it for me. the same as the programmer.

the idea by the way is a programme which compresses differnt parts of the movie using different codecs for best compression and quailty. then on the other end outputs it as a svcd vcd or dvd.
