use this guide-
http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm
you can find most of the software in the tools sectionWhere I walk, I walk alone. Where I fight, I fight alone. -
yes you can do everything you want with what you have if you know how to do it.
1.you say that you d/l movie from internet, there are so many type of movie files out there such as avi, mpeg, mov, asf etc.... You have to know what type of file and what they do,
Read more in FAQ section.
2. You need to convert these type of files to the one that you can burn to CD and play on your dvd player. there are two formats that you can choose from, one is mpeg1 or VCD which is standard and popular format, another one is mpeg2 or SVCD which you get more quality but less complatible. Then you will have XVCD, XSVCD and many things more.
Read more on FAQ section and Convert guide, both on the left hand side ment.
3. After you get mpeg file and ready to burn. You still have one more thing to concern. How do you burn this file? Not all burnning software support VCD/SVCD type. Not all burnning software give you a perfect result everytime. you have to choose which way to go with such as burn with NERO, EZ, Winoncd, or go with bin/cue file way and burn with so many burnning software to mention.
Read more on author guide section. again on your left hand side.
4. You can serch more about conversion authoring and burning to see what other's experiences and then you can apply their way to suit your way. This forum is really great to give you all info. you need if you know how to use (serch) them.
Hope this help you
