    Everytime I try to convert my avi files over to mpg. I receive the error message; video not available, cannot find vids:mp43 decompressor. What decompressor is it looking for?

    Can you play your avi file in computer at all? you might need some more code try Nimo Pack.

    If you decide to download the Nimo Codec Pack make sure you choose the older version 7. The latest version is a lite version and doesn't include everthing in the previous release. Of course that's just my humble opinion.

    The Avi works. Are you familiar with vitec mpeg encoder.? The error message has something to do with their codecs
