  1. i have try the method you teach me and i encode a short mpeg-1 file to try if it work smoothly after i encode the template you teach me i copy that mpeg to make it a vcd but the vcd just keep on moving and stopping i wonder what setting i have set incorrect?can you help me please.

  2. If you are using TMPGEnc, load one of the default VCD templates:

    VideoCD (NTSC)
    VideoCD (NTSCFilm)
    VideoCD (PAL)

    DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTING. Encode 1 - 2 minutes of your material (AVI, etc.) This will make a standard compliant VCD. Make sure this works first.

    Also, it could be that your DVD player does not support VCD.
