  1. I have seen some where on here how to do this, but i can't find it, help.

    How can I look at the details of an mpeg, i woild like to know whether

    NTSC or PAL
    16.9 OR 4.3

    and things like that

  2. You can check by load mpeg file into TMPGenc and check resolution and frame rate. If frame rate is 25 fps mean your mpeg file is PAL, 23.976/29.97 goes for NTSC.

    To check if it is wide screen(16:9) or full screen(4:3), is kind of hard. Most of the time mpeg files are in 4:3 full screen even though you see the movie in wide screen/letter box format. So you can check resolution if it is 352x240 (NTSC), 352x288(PAL),and 320x240 (normally use when capture and no standard), these three resolutions are in full screen(4:3). Other than these I don't know

    This is not all yet. You have serch more and read more to know all about it. All I mentioned above I assumed that you were talking about VCD or mpeg1. If it is mpeg2/SVCD all about resolution will be a little bit different.
