  4. I heard that Apex was buggy but cannot confirm. I have a Panasonic RV31. It has been great so far and also plays MP3's. It retails for under US$200

Hey I've got the RV-31 too. Do you have or know of a region hack for this model? I just finished my first season DVD's of "Stargate SG1" and it ended in an awesome cliffhanger and they only sell the second season in Europe with Region 2 coding. Damnation!!! I really need some help here. I've got a post here www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=54424&forum=8&2

    Thanks
    Mike

  7. I've had no problems so far......keep in mind most everything is going to have some weird bug or something. The APEX seems to do everything, though I don't claim it to be the best at everything.

  8. Apex 1500 was problematic when i bought it. It didn't play any of my SVCDs nor did it play my nonstandard VCDs or VCDs that had "buggy" mpegs. screen would lock up and i had to change the audio settings to get the buggy vcd to run. ALSO - i returned it and got a second Apex 1500 - same problems. Pioneer DVD-343 did the trick for me but it was about $90 more.

It plays them fine. I am on a 32" TV though, so I can't really notice any flaws even if there were any...

I love my 1500. Payed 99 bucks for it and it plays everything I can manage to pirate / get my hands on. Heck man, for that cheap what do you have to lose?!?

    BUY IT
    =)
