    If you rip the DVD to your harddrive you can rename the VOB files. Just name them whatever DVDx wants the file names to be.

    For example if DVDx is expecting to see a project with vts_01_1.vob and vts_01_2.vob but you have vts_01_2.vob and vts_01_3.vob rename as follows:

    vts_01_2.vob -> vts_01_1.vob
    vts_01_3.vob -> vts_01_2.vob

    There are probably many reasons why this is a bad idea, but so far it has worked for me.

  3. these are the VOB files that emerged after ripping:
    VTS_05_PGC_01_1.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_2.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_3.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_4.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_5.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_6.VOB
    VTS_05_PGC_01_7.VOB

    it seems that everythings in order. but i still get the same error. is there anythign else i can do or any other program i could use?
