Resume problem with S-vcd on my DVD player

When I watch s-vcd movie and I want to stop movie and replay to restart where I was then, The image size fit at 3/4 of the screen. I don't know why it do that and if there are someone else who have the same problem. I want to know if I can resolve this problem and how. I use a DVD player PRIMA 1500 and when I encode my mpeg file from Divx I always keep the same ratio of the original file.
