how do you capture with wintv pvr, I can't

Hi !

Just bought a wintv pvr and have been trying to capture sky digital, sattelite and vhs here in the UK.

I can capture at a resolution of 352*288, but can't at a higher resolution. How does everyone else capture at full frames uncompressed and what resolution do you capture at.

When I try to capture at high resolution, I get severe ghosting and black lines running through the picture.

Any help will be appreciated.

I use AVI_IO to capture from my WinTV PVR.As for the ghosting and blacklines perhaps it's interlacing issue.Try search this forum for "interlace" topic.That's how I learn about it.

oh btw, I wonder why you got this blacklines/combing effect if you capture at 352x288.It shouldn't happen.
