  1. hi i would like to back my dvds up with ac3 5.1 and 2 channal as i have 5.1 in my lounge and just stero in my bed room is there a authering program that supports 2 ac3 files or maybe more eg directors speach i use m2v and ac3 with my current programs please help me

    sonic scenarist has a AC3 encoder that does little and big endian. it supports everything but 6.1

    It's 39,000 but you can get internet prices on it.

    I think there's anouther program that does it. DVDIT PE.

  5. You need to get a hold of the two big boys either Scenarist or Maestro. Big bucks, no whammies, good hunting...

    U need scenarist, it floats around WinMX, especially the Open Nap servers.



    Of course, you could always go out an buy DVDIT PE, which allows AC3 Audio.

    The ppl who write dvd software dont' think home users want subtitles and all that stuff.

    there are about 4 or 5 Dolby 5:1 software encoders avaible .. the cheapest is about 800$ i believe.

  8. ok guys what i want to be able to do is use the audio ac3 5.1 and 2 channal but if possible i would like to make it so i can play the movie with the directors commentys aswell any ideas????

    yes - just add asecond track of audio stream .. you can have many as long as all streams are below the dvd max .. you then can make a menu to play the alternitive tracks or use your dvd remote control ..

    impression or spruce or dalkin all work with multiple ac3 streams .

  10. i love spruce up but how do i get it to load multiple ac3 files as when it imports the m2v it also im ports the ac3 file aslong as they are labled the same then how do i get them to play using sep ac3 files with the movie is there any guides for this please help im in a rut here as i like my backups but i cant watch em upstairs as i dont have 5.1 decoder up there

    not spruce UP but spruce Maestro

    on playback use your remote control and select which track you want to hear or make a menu to do the same thing ...
