  1. Well, the subject says it all.
I canīt rewind or fast forward my svcds on my standalone dvd player.
    It is fairly annoying.
Is it because of my dvd player or could there be another reason?
    Thankful for an answer
    Regards

  3. No, the subject didn't say it all. You need to give some more details such as what burnning software. My best guess is you was using NERO to burn your SVCD, and if i'm right, you need to go with some other way. To create bin/cue file with VCDimager is one way to help you solve this problem. you can search some more on this fast forward issue, it's been in this forum for a long long long time.

  6. Before I burnt with NERO and I cant fast forward SVCD in my player. Then I use VCDImager and that problem was gone. So I don't think it's only a player thing, thou.

  7. when using older version's of nero you have to download a file and copy and paste it. This is explained more in the author guides. For svcd's the file that has to be downloaded is scandata.dat here's the link to the guide for burning svcd's with nero http://www.vcdhelp.com/nerosvcd.htm It will also provide you with the download for the scandata.dat file.
