    I have latest of everything, memory, drive space and encoding a bunch of AVI files. It just quits after encoding successfully one file to vcd format. It has never done that before and started doing so now. they are from my canon G2 AVI files.. I had done some 100s of Canon G2 files but no problems but just quit recently after doing one file. Help ? Thanks

    Are you doing a batch encode? If so, TMPEG will tell you what's wrong in the summary it creates.
    If Tmpeg just locks up, It could be an enviroment issue... try moving your directshow multimedia file reader to a higher priority...
