hi...
i recently bought a set of VCDs (burned onto a cd-r) from someone on ebay, and with the discs, the seller included a note saying:
"These VCD's have an encyripted code that if dubbed, the dubbed cds will only be playable for a short time. Then an invalid format will pop up, rendering them useless."
is this possible? i checked the FAQs here at vcdhelp, and i saw nothing that proves this is possible.
if this is real, is there any way to bypass this encryption code?
thanks

ok, i see that's it is indeed possible. with this in mind, is there any way to burn this VCD and bypass the encryption? i was reading other forum posts and there seems to be quite the debate as to how to do this and if it is possible.
thanks
