As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

aughhhhhhhhhh!
I spent a couple of hours looking for that page.
I've rarely had a video question that wasn't answered on this site.
THANKS for the help!! -
Mirror - thanks for the catch.
I looked back on my original posting and in fact this does help those that may have captured in the ati vcr format and need a quick conversion to mpeg2. But alas my diatribe on the potential of an increased quality of using the ati vcr codec to improve quality did not prove out.
But for those that are stuck with ati vcr captures which require a quick conversion to mpeg2 it is a feature of the mmc software that can hopefully help in a conversion to a more workable mpeg2 file. -
Or you can do as I did and remove Media Library,it's is utterly useless.
I capture directly to mpeg and avoid that .vcr rubbish. -
MOVIEGEEK - you have the right answer. But if for some reason somebody has captured in vcr format it's easy to convert to mpg.
