Hi..
I have some DVD +RW 's recorded on a PHILIPS 985 standalone DVD recorder..
These TV shows contain commercials, and I thought I would cut them out and reburn using my PC.
Problem is, I cannot seem to cut the .VOB's.. TMPGenc complains about a illegal MPEG stream when muxing, demuxing or trying to merge and cut it.
The file plays perfectly in mplayer, or standalone dvd player..
When i use a commercial DVD I can cut the VOB's using TMPGenc..the result .VOB seems fine, just plays choppy on my machine..(why is that ?)
Does anyone have any idea what my Philips does to the files it creates on the disk...
I like to copy them, without commercials and without reencoding.
tnx.
mike.
btw...am using dual athlon 1800+ 240 gig striping HDD and HP DVD+rw.. but they don't really matter in this case.
