Some one gave me a VCD and the sound is 'tinny', is there anyway to Boost it once I have split it from the film (to a wav file)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Splitting it is not the problem, but putting it back might be
www.goldwave.com
Probably just as quick to re-encode it with TMPGEnc and select setting > Audio > use audio edit
