I tried last night but it didn't work. I t made ALL my capture software (FreeVCR, Vdub, AVI_IO) not recognize my capture card (WinTV). It even made my computer reboot when I opened FreeVCR! I really want to use this.

Don't know about that, but have you tried NonoDVR, mpeg 1 capture

I used VirtualDub with btwincap to capture from my WinTV Go card and it worked fine.

tried it a while ago. it seems to offer me more capture capabilities but my regular TV/Radio programs don't work no more... so I got rid of the drivers

I'm using btwincap drivers for my Terratec TerraTV Value card. I had to do the manual installation (wdm_install_by_hand.zip / something), the setup program didn't work for me. Also, I could install the latest (about a month ago) version of this driver for some reason.
It's true the software that came with your card don't work with btwincap drivers, but who cares? DScaler is far better for TV viewing anyway. -
