I have a Masonic dvd-xv10 home player,which plays.dvd/vcd/cd-wr/photo cd/mp3/cd.
problem ,on a couple of vcds (that work ok on other dvd machines)
the picture and sound quality are very good ,but it stops and stars very fast(at the blink of an eye speed) like hickups and if I speed up the play
picture is fine but sound is out of sync, and as I said on other dvd players including pc everything is ok.

If these are VCD's you made yourself, next time I suggest you try a Demux and then a Remux of the mpeg file before you burn to CD. I had the exact same problem with my Apex AD-1500 once I started doing the Demux and then a Remux (I'm using TMPGEnc for the Demux/Remux) I no longer had the problem.
