I've burned a video-cd from 16 mpg-tracks of a concert.
I ripped the tracks from a dvd with smartripper, used avi2dvd and TmpgEnc. Then I burned the mpg-files with Nero 5.5.9
The option Pause at track was set to 0 seconds. The cd was burned disc-at-once. I play the vcd in a Panasonic DVD-player.
My problem is:
At the end of each track (just before the transition to the next one) the video stops 1 second and then the next track is played.
Is there a possibility to get a smooth transition, just like it is possible with audio-cd's. The 1 second stop at each track is iritating.

the answer is yes but not the way you are trying to do it.
There is (as far as my understanding) no way to get 'perfect' playback b/t tracks. You need to combine your 16 tracks into one mega track and burn that way. Thus you bypass the problem. To still get the 'track' effect you need to use chapters for that one large track. There are some nice guides on this site if you're confused.
