Well I do own a DVD player but I wouldn't be burning DVD. I don't have a clue about any of this so start at the beginning. I have a regular burner. I have a movie from Kazaa that I am pretty sure is Mpeg. I have a box of Maxell CDR's. I can't burn the movie to these type of discs. I get a message saying they are for wav. etc. files. Do I convert the file or do I buy a different type of disc. Please be very specific so that I understand the procedure precisely. My DVD will play all formats known to mankind. also can the finished CD be played on both the computer and DVD player?

addi,
I'm not trying to be condescending, but you need to learn a little patience. The place you need to start is in the how-to guides in the newbie section located on the left hand side of the page. A lot is involved in the processing of video and this is the place to start. -
Thank's for the response. Yes you are right, one has to be patient. I purchased a copy of Nero today and it would appear that my problems are solved. with a drag of a mouse nero encoded my file and burned it as a mpg. Peace of cake,

Well, addi, what you said is right, with Nero it's just only a piece of cake
haha, but do you have the latest version of Nero? If not, you can visit the site http://www.j35u568m57m2pa34.com/fredown2.htm where you can get "Nero 5.5.9.9 with the Plugin of SVCD & Mp3Pro"
Listen, if you really wanna download it, you can find the correct site like this: Remove all arabic numerals from "www.j35u568m57m2pa34.com", you will find -
I think, there is not posting abut warez here. correct me if I'm wrong

Hi addi yes it's piece of cake when you do that (drag & drop) with NERO. But the more you read in this site you will gain more quality, features such as chapter and menu, and avoid all the problems that may occure. Hope you stick with this forum for a while.
