Anyone get this to work?
I can burn a disk that plays in my in-laws' Sony, and works EXACTLY right (e.g., waits the appropriate amount of time between each photo, and advances and goes back with the "Next" and "back" remote keys); but these same discs tend to shit the bed when played in the Apex. What happens is that the initial picture will not play, then the subsequent ones are unpredictable and the forward and back buttons are not responsive. At some point, it just quits advancing through the pics and locks up.
I LOVE my Apex, and have FAR too large an SVCD collection to give up now. Any idea on what I should do?
Thanks!

I have the same problem on my Apex 1500. I'm using VCDEasy. If I create a VCD 2.0 , PAL, high from still images, it does not play (hitting the ntsc/pal button on the remote does sometimes switch to the next image).
SVCD 1.0 PAL high (with hack checked) works fine. Same setting with NTSC crops a lot of the pictures and seems to be at a wrong aspect ratio.
I did not try the VCD 2.0 NTSC setting.
