Subject said it all. Will I realize any difference after I convert to VCD with Tmpgenc? I prefer to use FreeVCR to cap, it seems to work OK for me.

your file will be smaller with a crappy animation and a standard compliance very low.
But can be usefull for cartoons. ( got some 15 fps DVDs ) -
Agree with previous reply. Also, you will run into Audio sync problems (I actually experimented with this very same thing). After all is said and done, might as well stick with 29.97 (30) fps.
