  1. Hi:

My TMPGEnc says that Mpg2 will last 30 days. What the hell that means? Which features will I loose after the 30 days (merge/cut, multiplex, demultiplex for Mpg2 files)? If i want to work with Mpg2 files after the 30 days what do I have to do? I was looking in the TMPGEnc site, but found nothing.

Can somebody help me with this question?

Mpg2 encoding will not be possible after 30 days unless you register. i suggest you search google for an earlier version that was free.

Is it just for encoding? Can I still use the mpeg tools for mpg2 files?

  4. I've done many google searches and downloaded a few and one reset my 30 days the others did nothing to my MPEG2 time limit. Can someone point me in the right direction for a download with unlimited MPEG2?

  5. Goto WWW.pegasys-inc.com, download TMPGEnc Plus and before 30 days pay the $48 US for it. This version also includes online Help which the other does not.

  6. Gotcha, pay the man he deserves it. It just pisses me off that I picked a dealer for my DVR-104 based as much on what software came with it as price and payed $40 for Movie Factory and all of their conversion/compression utilities give crappy results. You'd think the big boys could come up with something that does half as well as the one-man produced TMPGEnc.
