    you can do it, by just simply selecting all the contents of a cd and dragging it to your desktop


    But it might not work because the disk security isn't present.

    Select file(s). Select COPY
    Go to hard drive select PASTE

    A program ? A single file ? or a whole disk ? with or without protection

  4. If you wish to INSTALL the program to have it usable on the PC, then you must use the SETUP or INSTALL program on the CD. Most, although not all, programs insert files into various Windows directories, make registry changes, etc, etc. Simply copying the files on the CD to the HD will not work 95% of the time.

    I might suggest that if this is giving you trouble you are not prepared for the things you will have to do in making Videos on Disk.
