    is it possible to burn a svcd with ac 3 or do i just burn it like a divx files or something and play it only on my pc ???

    any help is appreciated

    You can multiplex an ac3 file with a svcd compliant mpg file, but then of course if you burn this it will not be a compliant SVCD and no hardware dvd player will be able to play the audio. You could still play it on your pc though, yes.

    You can use bbmpeg to multiplex ac3 and m2v streams.

    If you want 5.1 Audio from SVCD in general, I suggest that you look at the other thread in this forum which discusses MPEG Layer II multi channel in depth.
