Hi There,
I have trying to backup an Interlaced movie and I'm near to the finish (I hope) but one problem remains, subtitles.
I have ripped the content via smartripper.
I stripped some obsolete extras via Ifoedit and kept the desired subs.
Used DVD2AVI to get a d2v file.
put it through VFAPIConv to create an input for CCE.
Used CCE to transcode.
Used Spruce-up to join the Video and Audio part again.
Now I'm missing the subs, what did I do wrong? Can anybody help me out?

i did this with lord of the rings so that it kept the subtitles and original menu etc but it's quite long winded. you need to use scenarist or DVD maestro instead of spruce-up.
here's a complete guide
