Want to display jpegs on JVC 500BK, I have just bought one. I see that the display time is very slow, as inidicated in the reviews, and indeed when I put a CD in with jpegs it is slow.
However, my jpegs are all about 2megs in size. I am guessing that if I coverted them to 640 by 480 that the speed of display would be much fast, and that if I used very little or no compression that this would also help in the speed and the quality, I also guess that since the best resolution for TV viewing is NOT greater then this for NTSC and S Video. - That 640/480 will be about as good as you can achieve?????

Is the above correct or am I missing some point(s) here??

Any help is appreciated, I don't want to do this several times over.

    PS what is BBCode???
Current Project is to convert many slide and photos to DVD, SVCD etc.

  2. The higher the resolution the better the picture(4:3 offers best results). Also use .bmp if given the choice,as it is uncompressed.
