I’ve found that if I convert a divX to mpg using TMPEnc all in one go and then cut it to fit onto more than one CD, when I try to burn it, Nero tells me it’s not a VCD compliant video stream. If I ignore and burn anyway, the resulting disc doesn’t play properly. But if I get TMPEnc to encode it into 2 parts (by using the source range), Nero quite happily burns them with no problems and the discs play OK !
Anyone any idea why this is ? the mpg’s always quite happily play in media player, no matter which method I use, but only by encoding it into parts, does Nero burn and my Phillips DVD play them !!
Just wondered if it was a glitch in either TMPEnc or Nero ?

You need to watch what your doing, first you should load a VCD template, then when the large file is finished and you use Merge&Cut make sure you change the drip down list to "MPEG 1 Video CD" or you will end up changing something in the streaming cut.
