  1. I'm learning VirtualDub for almost a year mostly through this forum and facing alot of problems that made me more smarter than before. Thanks for all you guys that help and guide me to understand better multimedia world especially regarding capturing and editing.

Well, after spending a year, suddenly somebody telling me to use NanDub. I'm not sure what is it. From messages posted here and there, I knew that this NanDub is a modified version of VirtualDub.

Anybody knows what the advantages/disadvantages of NanDub over VirtualDub...???Usually a modified version was made to tackle problem or bug that exist on the original one. If that is the case, so what are there....??? I really love VirtualDub, hopefully Avery Lee will come out with his new version that will make other competitors silent...and one thing...still a FREEWARE......

    Anybody suggesting NanDub....????

nandub is better than virtual dub for making divx. not as functional as vdub for other things.

  4. All right. Here is what I know:

Nandub is a hacked version (modified) of VirtualDub, designed mainly for SBC (Smart Bitrate Contro) method of DivX4 conversion. If you are not into DivX with SBC, there is no need for you to use Nandub whatsoever.
