is there any way to seperate an avi into video and sound without the need to reencode the video?

my problem is that i want to convert my nge-videos (if u don't know what that is, it doesn't matter) in svcd using dvd2svcd and cce.

the problem is that some avis have a divx audio stream which dvd2svcd can't handle.

reencoding the audio is no problem, but i have to get that audio off the avi

    thx for ya help

    two choices:
    1. select 'video only' and encode from the avi but don't use the audio (I assume CCE has the same capability as TMPGenc). Then remux with the encoded audio.

    2. use virtualdub to save the audio as a wav file, then save the video as an avi with sound disabled. Process however you want.
