lmpgvd.ax, lmpgad.ax and lmpgspl.ax are part of the LSX-MPEG Player app (http://www.ligos.com/index.phtml?pi=95), which allow you to play mpeg-2 in windows media player. They are located under C:\windows\system32.
When I try to use adobe premiere when these files are installed, while editing mpeg video, premiere crashes and just won't work. I moved the files to another folder so premiere can't find them.
Problem solved so far.
BUT, I need these files so I can import mpeg-2 video into TMPGEnc.
Is there any way to make the files invisible to premiere?
So i don't have to move them back and forwards, depending on whether I am using TMPGEnc or premiere.

You could try the codec that comes with Power DVD 4, its one of the other 2 that work with TMPGEnc Plus
or a batch file
Off
Rename C:\windows\system32\lmpgvd.ax lmpgvd.bak

On
Rename C:\windows\system32\lmpgvd.bak lmpgvd.ax
