  1. I have tried every mpeg encoder out there and i've discovered that Wincoder 1.8 is excellent. You never hear much about this program, but it encodes faster than real time . The quality for PAL VCD is the best i have seen and i have yet to have any frame loss (unlike CCE and tmpgenc). What does every one else think?

how do you lose frames while encoding? I've lost frames during capturing a few times, but never during encoding.

  3. When i say losing frames. What i mean is every now and then, whatever encoder i seem to use the picture would drop a frame while the audio caught up. Making the VCD's jumpy ( especially with tmpenc). It may be my PC but i have recently had a new pc and i still get the same results as my old one.
