DivX5 Playback Problems

Hello-I cannot get DivX 5 clips to play on my computer. I downloaded the codec, all I get is audio on my WMP6.4. It kills the other DivX clips, too. When I uninstall the 5.02 DivX codec, the other Divx clips work normally. Any suggestions, different media player, etc? Thanks-Ron B

Did you get DivX Player bundled with DivX5.02 codec pack? It can play most DivX files, since it's backward compatible. Pretty cool.

Hello again-I did download the DivX player, but I was hoping the WMP could handle all my video needs. The DivX 5.02 codec shows up in my Ulead Video Studio 5, rendering to DivX as easy as MPEG? If I could get the clips to play, I might try some of my own stuff. I'll give the DivX Player a shot. Can you disable all the other formats except for DivX with the DivX Player?
