Hi Everyone!
OK...Admited Newbie here, so bear with me. I just got an ATI AIW 8500, and all in all it's working real well. But I have just a couple of questions.
I've got Digital Cable hooked up in my living room and just (for lack of a better term) "regular" cable in another room. If I split the "regular" cable feed and bring a line to my PC I can capture a fairly good signal. It's a bit grainy but tolerable. But, if i run a line from the TV in the living room to the PC I get horizontal lines on the picture. It doesn't matter if I capture it or not, it's always there. I've tracked the problem down to the Digital cable, but I don't know how (or if) I'm able to fix it. Ideally I'd like to go out of the TV and in to the ATI card (opposed to out of the cable box or VCR).
Could anyone help me out? It's VERY much appreciated. Thanks.
