Can I combine a VCD movie with still photos?

I am using Nero 5.5.8.0 to burn a VCD with a movie followed by many jpegs. First, I choose to enable the menu. Then I simply drag the movie and then the photos to the large compilation window. Then I burn the CD. When I put it in my Samsung DVD-V2000, the first menu page comes up. First thing I notice is that I can't go to the next menu page. I can play the video no problem. I can also display a picture from the menu. However, I can't go to the next or previous picture with the remote. The only way to go to another picture is to bring the menu back up and select it, assuming it's on the first menu page.

I noticed that Nero has a "Store Pictures In..." box that I did not select. Should this be selected?

Has anyone done with with Nero?

You have to use some other software.
