Hi, I have a Dazzle DVD Creation Station 200 and it is ok. You must capture to dvd or else it won't look very good. When capturing the preview looks horrible. Then after you convert it it looks ok. Then after you burn it to dvd it looks great. Has its share of bugs though. If you have anymore questions email me.

    Hey Mxjshaf69,

Have you had any audio sync problems cause I had it before but returned it because of money issues, I would capture dvd and then through DVD Complete software when it would separate the audio and video to make the project and then put it back together I would preview it but audio would not be in sync, have you had this experience yet? if so what did you do to correct it because I'm thinkin about getting it again

I use the Hauppauge WIN TV PVR(USB) on W2K, Dell Latitude. I am very pleased with the quality of the captures (there are several levels of quality). I have captured up to a 4 gig movie.

Any specific questions I will be glad to answer.

Yes, but i fixed it. After capturing you have to convert it with TMPGenc in parts. Convert 1/4 of it at a time and then merge them together and you will have a perfect video.

There is software on the Hauppauge Web page for Windows XP.
The different quality levels start at mpeg1 (VCD) and go to mpeg2.
The higher the quality the higher the bits per second.
I have had audio sync problems, using the VCDConvert program solves them. Also it appears that some DVD players are more sensitive then others. I have had no sync problems playing back on my DELL Latitude DVD. But I do get sync problems on my Apex. Let me add that I am very pleased with the quality of the WIN TV PVR. I have had no Software problems.
