Hello, I looked for this problem in the forums all over with no luck. So am going to post. Keep in mind I am still quite a newb at this.

OK, I am creating collections of music videos and burning them to VCD to play on my Sony DVP-NS315. Everything goes well on the computer end. I burn with Nero and test on my PC with Power DVD and it works great.

The problem comes when I go to play the VCD. Some videos play OK. Others, however, play horrible. It will play jumpy, it will just cut out and go to another video, then go back to the original, it will play the video and play music from another video, and when it starts doing this it always pixilates in places. One other symptom is that sometimes the DVD player will just give up and display "The Disc is Dirty", but this happens with all my CD-RW's and they are spotless.

I have been using CD-RW discs thus far. But I also don't want to start creating coaster worthy CD-R discs if that isn't the problem.
The DVD plays MP3 content CD-RW (MP3 files, decoded on the DVD) no problem at all.

I have considered my problem to be source related. All my sources are MPEG files, and Nero seems to be converting them into compliant format when needed.

Where am I going wrong here? Your help is SOOOO appreciated!
