    on long files of mp3 audio , is there a quick and easy edit program.
    mostly i only want to cut the first 2 second from them
    stupid introductions

    Well, depends on what you call quick and easy.

    Load the mp2 into Gold Wave. Go to Edit-->Marker-->Set. Where the start box is enter two seconds. Select Delete. Save as a .wav file.

    Load the .wav file into TMPGEnc audio input. Save As .mp2. What do you think?
