I have been trying to convert a divx rip of the movie Analyze This to SVCD. I used the basic SVCD template in TMPG.
At points in the MPEG2 video the top have of the picture and the bottom half don't meet up. The bottom seems to be a fraction of a second ahead of the top. There is one scene were they are walking on the beach with an umbrella and the handle of the umbrella is slightly ahead in the bottom half.
I've tried playing with the field order and frame rates but I'm am fairly new to VCD/SVCD and can't figure out what's wrong. The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with going from a 512x384 DiVX to 480x480 MPEG2/SVCD.
When I convert the movie to MPEG1/VCD this does not happen.
