Has anyone used the Darim M-Filter to create VCDs? I want to use it to hopefully create better looking Video CDs. I read that it cleans away video noise and makes old video look even better. If anyone has any recommendations or insight to this product, your opinion will be welcomed.

It's an add on card. The M-Filter is an ISA card, and the M-Filter Pro is a PCI card. They include a noise filter, and a couple of other filters too. It runs along side your capture card. You can have more than one card installed.
They claim it works with all cards even generic cards. They retail for $475. It includes time based correction to insure A/V sync.
I was at one time going to purchase a few products from Darim. But since they didn't respond to my 5 emails in 8 weeks, I decided to look for another company.
http://www.visiblelight.com is a retailer.
