    i have an avi file that i am trying to play but i get this in windows media player...

    "The audio codec identified by the format tag 2000 is required to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help."

    i can play the video in a divx player but no sound...does any1 know what this is or means and where i can get the codec...thnx

    Look under Tools at left. Try the Divx and the Nimo Codec Pack.

    You have a missing codec install the Nimo codec pack from
    http://nimo.everwicked.com/ http://perso.wanadoo.fr/nimo/

    5.7 (Old) or 5.8 new...
