The Nero 5.5.4.0 software I have doesn't seem to recognize my new DVR-104 connected via firewire. Any suggestions...or maybe some other software that will recognize the drive? I'm actually interested in burning some simple data CDs initially. I'm using Windows ME.
Thanks

ive had no probems with any version of nero reconizing my 104 through firewire -- though the suggestion to use the latest version is a good one.
also what kind of firewire card do you have ?
(and/or firewire chip in the 104 case also)
I find the PYRO cards the best all around ...
and also you need to make sure your enclosure uses an Oxford 911 chip and is 1394a compliant ..
I have seen in some of our systems that the PYRO cards are do not work in some EPOX motherboards using 815 chipsets for some really unknown reason.
