  1. Have a 1.7Ghz 256 ram Windows ME Gatewaycomputor. Cd burner is a HL-DT-ST CD-RWGCE 8160B.

I sucessfully downloaded digital video from my Panasonic DV camcorder and converted it to a VCD mpg. Burned it successfully to CD-RW media that my ProSan 8682P DVD player could read. Fine! Sound is great on the DVD player!

Successfully used a Dazzle II card and Moviestar to capture from VHS tapes to VCD mpeg.

Both Dazzle and the "Digital" Vcd files play well on my computor , sound and everything. But I can't hear any sound from my DVD player when I play the Dazzle produced Vcd.

    Help!!

Tried de and re- multiplexing of the mpg but no good. What's wrong with the Dazzle produced vcd mpg

  2. To all who want to know!!!

I switched to VCDeasy to burn my movie instead of Roxio's CD Creator 5.

Guess what? It fixed all my problems. I suppose Roxio's software was creating a flawed disc when I used it to burn my movie! I read many times that other people have complained about the VCD burning ability of CD Creator 5!!

I still used Roxio's software for other purposes but now I'm only will use VCDeasy for VCD's.
