  1. I'm trying to extract the audio from a DVD rip that was encoded using the Kristal codec. TMPGE cannot encode the audio to wav (to make VCD). I cannot extract the audio(wav) using VDub or dbPowerAmp. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help everyone!

what program did you use avisynth to decode the audio. I have a divx episode of sg1, that i'm trying to convert to vcd, and the audio is encoded in ac3, which none of my encod/ripping programs can decode. I tried ac3 decoder (from vobdec) but that didn't work. I do have the divx codec to play these files though. Any help would be appricated

    Thanks
