I have an avi file and when I try to convert it with TMPEGnc into VCDPAL I have no audio.
the avifile's audio is MPEG Layer-3, 159kbit/s, 48.000Hz, Stereo. Now I noticed that on TMPEGnc it is MPEG Layer2, 224 kbit/sec, 44.100Hz,
Is there a Template for TMPEGnc to use that MPEG Layer3?
Or is there another software to get audio.
I hope someone can help me

If you cannot get the audio, changes are you have a missing audio codec, install the Nimo codec pack. Use a PAL VCD template and TMPGEnc will convert 48Khz to 44.1Khz it will also convert AC3, but if you get any problems you make need to save out the audio in Vdub first.Originally Posted by Porthos13
Also check this;
Select options > environmental settings
click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
