  1. I have download a lot of audio book file in mp3

what is the best way to burn them without any click and jumps.

I used nero and burned them at 2 x , but when I played it on my DVD player it jumped and made loud crash noises.

    help.
there are som 20 files to a book and I can get 3 books to a disc.
I do not use folders just place the files in a row.
the dvd player is xms 750

  2. i have the same player. clicks and jumps are usually caused in the ripping, not the burning due to no jitter correction and small buffers.

with the loud noise that comes from some mp3's, it is sometimes because the file is vbr or corrupted somehow. a corrupted mp3 usually will play ok in winamp or such - but when burned to cd wont work in a stand alone player. if you make an audio cd from mp3's nero scans the files looking for errors and should pick up the bad files. if i come accross a corrupt file or a vbr file i convert them to wavs using winamp.

    hope this helps.

My only suggestion would be to try and re-encode the files with a tool called RazorLame. You can find it at: http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php
With this you can convert them back out to wave or just re-encode them directly. Also it's free!

  6. ... you could also use electonic cosmo's mpeg suite to convert. that is what i use it is really simple too.

to trim your files there is a program out there i think is called mp3trim or something similar. it is a small download available from download.com
