  1. I made my menu still to be at 704x480 resolution and made the mpeg with VCDEASY and it worked fine. When burning it in Roxio EZ Creator it wouldn't let me use that rate, so everything went through at the standard 352x240. Now the letters are blurry and unreadable. What can I do to get around this Roxio problem with encoding at that low rate.

Why not burn with VCDEasy? Especially since it likes your settings?

  3. I guess I will have to if there is no alternative. I prefer the use of Roxios format as it is as simple and plug n play as you can get. Too bad it doesnt work as good.

  4. Easy CD Creator is very very limited when it comes to authoring VCDs.

I suggest you learn to use VCDImager +/- a GUI (e.g., VCDEasy or TSCV).

Why don’t you re-size the images then, or remake them smaller ? I make them the same size as the mpeg 1 witch chunky letters

  6. I think roxio accepts files made using my method (well, WinOnCD did anyway).

Well, my stills are 100% compliant since they're made using the Philips software.
