    is there a player that you can brighten the movie up, or a player that when you brighten your screen up the movie will become brighter too? i have a few mpegs that are really dark...but dont want to run them through TMPEGnc.

    most software players have this option .. windvd for sure does in the video setup .. you can increase either gamma or contrast .. or brightness , but ussually brightness is set to high anyway ..
