  1. Hello everybody. I would like some simple answers that I can't find please to these questions.
Can a DVD writer burn a dual layered dvd.
If I wanted to backup say Lord of the rings or Harry Potter and bought a dual layered disc for each one, would I just be able to rip the files to the hard drive using smartripper (back-up option) and then burn them to a DVD-R 9 with say Nero?
Can I do any of this with a Pioneer dvr a04 writer.
Can you just make 1 for 1 backups?
Please help. I've read lots of guides on how to do everything else but I can't find these basic answers (hence the name fuckwit)

    Cheers Buddies

There isn't any, all DVD-9 disks are commercially pressed, not burned.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
