Hi,
I want to add subtitles to a VCD or SVCD compliant file without having to merge the subtitles and the file in a single file. Is there a program that allows you to burn a VCD or SVCD by adding the mpeg files and the subtitles separately ?
Thanks a lot.
Alejandro.

First: VCD can not contain subtitles (except of course burned into the video itself).
And SVCD cannot have subtitles in a seperate file. You must merge them into the MPEG.
Reason: the drive would need to jump around constantly on the disc to read the subtitles and the film at once, causing jerky playback (same goes for DVD).
